From Special Reports

Coweta County is now offering a new convenient location for citizens seeking to renew vehicle registration.

Citizens can now go to the Kroger located at 1751 Newnan Crossing Boulevard in Newnan and update their registration using a Georgia MV Express Tag Kiosk, as well as print tag stickers and registration.

“To keep up with our growing population, I am thrilled to provide our citizens with another option to renew their vehicle registration,” shares Robi Brooks, Coweta County Tax Commissioner. “This innovative technology is another way we are trying to serve our citizens in a more accelerated way. Citizens can utilize this service seven days a week without having to come to our office or complete registration online.”

Georgia Tag Kiosks are provided by Intellectual Technology, Inc. and allow county residents to conduct their vehicle registration renewals in person, on their own schedule. By placing the self-service kiosks in convenient Kroger locations that are open extended hours, Georgia vehicle owners can renew vehicle registrations while shopping for groceries.

The kiosks are as easy to use as an ATM, and registrations can be renewed in as little as two minutes. Simply scan your Georgia driver’s license, pay with a credit card, and print your Georgia registration card and license plate decal. Georgia MV Express Tag Kiosks accept payment by credit or debit card with instructions available in English or Spanish.

There now 70 kiosks installed and 73 Georgia counties participating in this program. Residents of a participating county can use any kiosk, even those in located in other counties. For a complete listing of all participating Georgia counties along with kiosk locations visit www.gamvexpress.com.
