Day 5 / Monday – 2024 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair

From Staff Reports
The big news on Monday of the 2024 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair is the weather is a changing!
That’s right, after four days of rain and dampness and gusty winds, it appears Monday’s 6-hour session at the fair will be under mostly sunny skies. And best of all, the remaining six days of this year’s Fair appears to have a weather forecast of sunny skies, highs in the mid-80s and little or no chance of rain.
Gates open at 4 p.m. for Day Five with admission prices at $10 (children 5-and-under are free). Monday’s session closes at 10 p.m.
Entertainment scheduled today include the Primetime Carnival Rides and Games, Wayne Jenkins Painting Demo, Extreme Sculpting by Chainsaw artist Chris, Music from DJ King Justice, the Iron P Homestead Exotic Petting Zoo, Superheroes, Inflatables and Crafts.
One competition is set for this evening. The 4-H Rabbit Showmanship contest will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Livestock Arena.
Monday’s weather forecast from the National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to expect mostly skies with a high near 82 degrees. East winds will be around 10 mph, gusting to 20 with no mention of rain. For the latest info on the weather, click HERE.
