From Staff Reports

It’s another night of free admission at the 2024 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair this evening as the carnival rolls into Day No. 7.

There’s no gate admission on Wednesday, thanks to sponsor Brent Scarbrough and Company. Gates open at 4 p.m. with the session closing at 10 p.m.

Entertainment scheduled today include “That Puppet Guy” Lee Bryan with the Zany Zoo Puppet Show, Krakens Release (Strolling Pirate Show), Wayne Jenkins Painting Demo, Extreme Sculpting by Chainsaw artist Chris, Bob Seymore – The Living Statue, the Iron P Homestead Exotic Petting Zoo, Princesses, Inflatables and Crafts. The lone competition during the evening will be the 4-H Goat Show at 6:30 p.m. in the Livestock Arena.

Wednesday’s weather forecast from the National Weather Service in Peachtree City is another dry one. The forecast calls for sunny skies and a temperature near 83 degrees when the gates open. Northwest wind will be 5 p.m. By closing time, fair attendees can expect the temperature to be near 70 degrees with calm wind. For the latest info on the weather, click HERE.
