The final weekend of  the 2024 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair begins this evening.

Gates open for Day No. 9 at 5 p.m. with the session closing at midnight.

Two competitions are on tap with the 4-H Showmanship getting underway at 6:30 p.m. in the Livestock Arena. Over in Exhibit Hall is the Coweta County Fair Beauty Pageant which begins at 7:30 pm.

Entertainment scheduled today include Extreme Sculpting by Chainsaw artist Chris,  the Iron P Homestead Exotic Petting Zoo, DJ King Justice music, Princesses, Inflatables and Crafts.

Friday’s weather forecast from the National Weather Service in Peachtree City is another nice one. The forecast calls for sunny skies and a temperature near 87 degrees when the gates open. By closing time, fair attendees can expect the temperature to be near 70 degrees with calm wind. For the latest info on the weather, click HERE.

FAIR HOURS
5 p.m. – Midnight

ADMISSION: $10, Children 5-and-under are Free

PARKING: Free

RIDE ARMBANDS: $35, unlimited rides on day of purchase only.

• Individual Exhibits and Booths in Exhibit Hall. Categories such as AG, Art, Baked Goods, Handicrafts, Horticulture, Photography and Preserved Foods.
• Animal Exhibits in Ag Building and Midway.

• Primetime Carnival Kiddie Rides, Family & Major Rides, Games, Food Concessions – Midway
• Inflatables, Games and Crafts – Lawn in front of Walker Horne Stage
• Iron P Homestead Exotic Petting Zoo – Midway
