Flag Retirement Ceremony June 12
A flag retirement ceremony will be held Sunday, June 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Coweta Veterans Club, 130 Veterans Club Road.
Several Newnan organizations (DAR,SAR,VFW, Scouts) will host this patriotic event where old, faded flags are honorably discharged. The public is invited to attend. If you can’t attend, feel free to drop off flags at 10 College Street, Newnan or the SummerGrove Townhall.
PLEASE NOTE: The Flag Retirement Ceremony time is 2:00-4:00 on Sunday, June 12.
