Main Street Newnan hosts Holiday Sip and See tonight

The first of several holiday events taking place in downtown Newnan will be tonight (Friday, Nov. 15) as Main Street Newnan hosts its annual Holiday Sip and See.

The Holiday Sip and See – which will feature over 25 participating businesses – kicks off at 5 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m.

Downtown retail establishments extend their normal business hours to introduce their holiday gift items and offer special promotions or discounts. This event is a great opportunity for visitors to get started on their holiday shopping while the holiday inventory is plentiful!

There will also be a holiday market, live music, and food trucks along with hors d’oeuvres and refreshments from the retailers. This is also an Open Container Event in downtown Newnan.

It’s a rain or shine event. The weather forecast calls for a 70 percent rain chance during the day, tapering off later tonight. Temperatures will be in the 40s with the North wind at 5-10 mph.

Free public parking is available along downtown streets, and in the City of Newnan’s Public Parking Lots located at: 13 Lagrange Street, 25 Lagrange Street, 22 Spring Street, 6 First Avenue, 50 East Broad Street, 65 East Broad Street, 41 East Washington Street and 22 East Broad Street.
