Newnan Carnegie Library to open on Saturdays beginning Feb. 29

The Newnan Carnegie Library has announced it will begin opening on Saturday mornings, starting Feb. 29. Hours for Saturdays will be from 9 a.m. to noon.
The Newnan Carnegie Library will host a celebratory event on Leap Day (Feb. 29) with library tours, games, refreshments, and crafts upstairs.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the community to discover all we have to offer,” says Carnegie Director Susan Crutchfield.
The Carnegie houses a children’s reading room, public use computers, as well as a circulating collection of books and DVDs, many of which are on the honor system.
All programs at the Carnegie are free and open to the public. Registration is requested for the event are required for craft programs. Registration is available online at newnancarnegie.eventbrite.com.
Regular business hours during the week are Monday – Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
