Piedmont Newnan Soiree raises over $100,000 at annual event

Piedmont Newnan Hospital, a non-profit healthcare provider, held its annual philanthropic event – the Piedmont Newnan Soiree – presented by BMW of South Atlanta, on Friday, November 17, 2023 at The Newnan Centre.

Thanks to our generous sponsors and attendees, this year’s Soiree raised over $100,000, with net proceeds benefitting oncology services at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, including the support of direct patient care programs, capital needs associated with our oncology programs, and program support for the Thomas F. Chapman Family Cancer Wellness Center.

“Many people don’t realize we are a not-for-profit hospital and that many of our programs and services would not be possible without the generous support of our community and donors,” said Mike Robertson, CEO of Piedmont Newnan. “This annual event allows us to celebrate Piedmont Newnan’s accomplishments and the community that has supported us, while raising money for those affected by cancer.”

The masquerade-themed event featured cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music, dancing and an overall unique, fun experience at the Newnan Centre.

“It was the perfect way to spend an incredible fall evening under the stars while supporting top-quality oncology services and programs close to home,” said Robertson.
