Registration now open for Newnan’s Fourth of July Parade

Registration is now open for one of Newnan’s favorite annual traditions – the Fourth of July Parade.
Main Street Newnan sponsors the Independence Day event which is planned for Monday, July 4. The parade will begin at 9 a.m. from the Veteran’s Memorial Park on Temple Avenue and will end at Long Place, two blocks south of the Courthouse Square.
All interested participants for the parade can register at mainstreetnewnan.com. Registration is required for participants that intend to use a motorized vehicle, and participation in the 2022 Fourth of July Parade is free. It is highly recommended that walking groups register in order to receive informational updates. Walkers should report to the Veteran’s Memorial Park on Temple Ave. Floats will be staged at a different location and must be registered by June 22 to participate.
Free public parking is available along downtown streets, and in the City of Newnan’s Public Parking Lots located at: 13 Lagrange Street, 25 Lagrange Street, 22 Spring Street, 6 First Avenue, 50 East Broad Street, 65 East Broad Street, 41 East Washington Street, and 22 East Broad Street.
