Saturday Status Report: Georgia records 1,800 new cases

The 3 p.m. Daily Status Report of the COVID-19 pandemic has been issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health for Saturday, June 20.
Today, Georgia posted 1,800 new cases of COVID-19, the most since at least April 7 when 1,598 were recorded. Other Saturday totals included 6 deaths, 65 hospitalized and 18 ICU admits.
In Coweta County today, positive cases were adjusted and dropped by 3, making the overall cumulative totals now stand at 545 cases, 14 deaths and 54 hospitalizations.
Overall in Georgia, there are 63,809 cases, 2642 deaths, 9837 hospitalizations and 2140 ICU admits. A total of 826,711 tests have been given.
