From Staff Reports

Three of four Atlanta professional sports teams will appear on television in this week (June 1-6).

The Atlanta Braves are in the midst of a seven-game home stand following Monday’s 5-3 win over the Washington Nationals. The Braves sport a 25-26 record and are 3.5 games back of the first-place New York Mets in Major League Baseball’s National League East Division. Atlanta continues a four-game series with the Nats tonight, then host the Los Angeles Dodgers for a three-game set beginning Friday. Atlanta will appear on three networks this week – BSSE, BSS, and FOX.

The Atlanta Hawks moved to a 3-1 lead in their first round NBA Playoff action with a sound 113-96 victory over the New York Knicks on Sunday at State Farm Arena. Atlanta travels to Madison Square Garden to face the Knicks in Game 5 on Wednesday. Game 6 is set for Atlanta on Friday (if necessary) and Game 7 will be in New York on Sunday (if necessary). Those times and TV networks will be announced later if those games are necessary.

Atlanta United got a 2-2 draw versus Nashville SC on Saturday. The draw brings United’s Major League Soccer record to 2-1-4. Their 10 points in the standings is good enough for 8th place in the Eastern Conference. United does not return to MLS action until June 20.

The Atlanta Dream of the WNBA will appear on TV and/or Streaming Channels twice this week. The Dream, now 4-2 on the young season, is coming off an 90-87 victory over the New York Liberty on Saturday. Atlanta will appear on Facebook and Bally Sports Southeast this week.
