Freeze Warning in effect tonight for Coweta County

Those high temperatures in the 70s from last week are long gone after a cold front pushed through Coweta County on Sunday.
This week’s high temperatures will remain in the 50s and 60s with overnight lows dipping into the 20s.
In fact, the National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Freeze Warning in effect from 11 p.m. tonight to 11 a.m. on Tuesday. Sub-freezing temperatures as a low as 27 are expected. Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
And a Freeze Watch has also been issued for Tuesday night from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

THURSDAY – Areas of frost before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 67.
FRIDAY – Showers, mainly after 8am. High near 69. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 56.
