OCTOBER 13, FRIDAY

GYPSY JUNKERS COUNTRY FAIR
8 a.m.-6 p.m. at Roanoke Farm Weddings & Events, 1441 Welcome Road, Newnan
At the beautiful Roanoke Farm, it’s the Fall 2023 Gypsy Junkers Country Fair.More than 70 vendors showcasing antiques, handmade arts and crafts, vintage and rustic farmhouse decor, jewelry, locally grown plants, yard art, and more! Free admission and free parking.

PEACHTREE CITY NIGHT MARKET

Free public market featuring music, entertainment, food and artists. Music by The Venus Kings (5:30-6:45 p.m.), Candler & Kyler Experience (7:10-8:25 p.m.) and Backfire (8:45-10 p.m.).

7TH ANNUAL PUMPKINS IN THE PARK

FALL PLANT SALE
8:30 a.m.-Noon at UGA Extension Coweta County Office, 255 Pine Road, Newnan • 770-254-2620
It’s the annual Master Gardener Extension Volunteers Fall Plant Sale. Perennials, Shrubs and Trees available for purchase. Bring your wagons and boxes for ease of shopping. Will be held in the Greenhouse behind the Extension Office.

COWETA COUNTY FARMERS MARKET / NEWNAN
8:30 a.m.-Noon at Asa M. Powell Sr. Expo Center, 197 Temple Avenue, Newnan
Every Wednesday and Saturday (thru mid-October) Local farmers  offer homegrown fruits, vegetables, homemade food items, plants and more!

SENOIA FARMERS MARKET
8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at 40 Travis Street, Senoia
It is a community-oriented marketplace that features a variety of local farmers, food producers, artisans, and craftsmen. You can find a wide selection of fresh produce, including fruits and vegetables, herbs, and flowers. There are also local food producers selling homemade baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, and other artisanal products. The market also features handmade crafts, such as pottery, jewelry, and textiles. Visitors can enjoy live music, food trucks, and other family-friendly activities.  EVERY Saturday.

COWETA-FAYETTE EMC ANNUAL MEETING
9 a.m. at EMC Headquarters, 807 Collinsworth Road, Palmetto
Registration is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Prizes, Bingo, Games, Free Concessions, Piedmont Health Fair and Grand Prize of $1,000 Electric Bill Credit.

THE LOCALS MARKET
9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Greenville Street Park, Downtown Newnan
Enjoy a Spooky Saturday at the Locals Market where there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Vendors, Food Trucks, Children’s Activities, Live Music, Trick or Treating, Costume Contest for Kids, Adults and Pets and a Basket Raffle.

VOLUNTEER 2ND SATURDAY WORKDAY
9 a.m. at Chattahoochee Bend State Park, 425 Bob White Way, Newnan
Hosted by Friends of Chattahoochee Bend State Park. Saturday is our final Hike and Paddle of the season, ever wondered what all is involved? Come on out to help and learn. Volunteers will be checking people in, hiking the trail with the group and sharing information on the park. Others will be hauling boats up to the North platform. People will be taking water and snacks to meet up with the hikers while another team will be taking out an old camp platform at the North platform area. Meet at the Visitor Center between 8:30-9 a.m. and see where you want to help out.

SERENBE FARMERS MARKET
9 a.m.-1 p.m. at 9110 Selborne Lane, Palmetto
Serenbe Farmers Market offers a variety of healthy foods and artisanal goods on a large green space surrounded by a canopy of trees. Spend the morning shopping for your weekly groceries or unique gifts & wears while enjoying the beauty of nature.

PEACHTREE CITY MARKET
9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Aberdeen Village Shopping Center, Aberdeen Parkway, Peachtree City
This market brings approximately 60 vendors offering a variety of fresh produce, poultry, beef and pork, bread, sweet treats, honey, eggs, prepared foods and so much more. It’s the perfect place to find the consummate gift for the foodie in your life and visitors will also find live music going on.

SOUNDS OF AMERICA
7 p.m. at Wadsworth Auditorium, 25 Jefferson Street, Newnan
The 116th Army Band from Marietta will be performing featuring concert band, brass quintet, saxophone ensemble, jazz band and rock band. CW2 David Proctor is the Commander, Conductor. CSI NEWNAN

It’s the NTC’s Improvisational Comedy Troupe called the N.I.T.W.I.T.S. Newnan Theatre Company quickly realizes this is a day unlike any other. Calling on a Newnan detective to solve the WHO, WHAT, & WHY, they have to navigate through the crafty N.I.T.W.I.T.S., who are the prime suspects in this comedic fallacy.Will there be laughs? Will there be tears? Who will confess as they are put through test after test to prove their innocence? It will be up to you, deputies of the force, and our cunning detective to solve WHO DUN IT?, N.I.T.W.I.T.S. style! Tickets are $10 and can be purchased HERE.

2ND ANNUAL ITALIAN HERITAGE FESTIVAL
1-8 p.m. at Drake Field, 155 Willowbend Road, Peachtree City
From the incredible classical music of the world acclaimed tenor Gianluca Sciarpelletti, to the amazing feats of our gladiator fighters, to food vendors and leather craftsman, pottery making, weapons demonstration, wine tasting and so much more !!!
