Update – Saturday Evening Report: Coweta now at 264 cases

UPDATE (6:25 p.m.) – Today’s second Daily Status Report has been issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health for Saturday, May 9.

This report indicates 32,568 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Georgia (an increase of 71 from today’s noon report) and 1401 deaths (an increase of 1 from earlier today).

In Coweta County, the number of new cases rose by 3 from noon today, now totals 264. The 4 deaths and 41 hospitalizations remain unchanged.

Adding the Georgia totals for today (Saturday) only, there’s 397 new cases, 2 deaths, 14 people hospitalized, and 4 admitted to ICU.

In the last two days combined (Friday and Saturday), Georgia has had 993 new cases, 61 deaths and 124 folks hospitalized.
