UPDATE (7 p.m.) – Today’s second Daily Status Report has been issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health for Wednesday, April 15.

This report indicates 15,260 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Georgia (an increase of 273 from today’s noon report) and 576 deaths (an increase of 24 from earlier today).

In Coweta County, the number of confirmed cases rose to 138 (an increase of 2 from earlier today) and 3 deaths remain unchanged. The deaths in Coweta … a 58 year-old female, 42 year-old female and 77 year-old male.

Adding the totals for today (Wednesday) only, there’s 682 new cases, 52 deaths and 148 people hospitalized in Georgia during the last 24 hours. Coweta County has seen an increase in 3 new cases and 1 death in the past 24 hours.
