Weather: Another mild week with Rain moving in Wednesday

The same weather pattern that’s been in Coweta County for about a week will continue, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

Folks in Coweta can expect sunny skies and highs in the mid-70s today and Tuesday, before a fast-moving cold front pushes through on Wednesday with a 40 percent chance of rain during the day and 60 percent on Wednesday night. Then after the front moves on, sunny skies with highs in the mid-70s and cool overnight lows in the 40s return on Thursday and remain into the weekend.

The warmest day of the week will be Wednesday with a forecast high of 78 degrees. The coolest night will be Friday with an overnight low set for 44.

MONDAY – Sunny, with a high near 74. North wind around 5 mph.

MONDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 52. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. East wind 5 to 10 mph.

WEDNESDAY – A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 78. East wind around 5 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.

FRIDAY – Sunny, with a high near 72.

SATURDAY – Sunny, with a high near 74.
