Weather: Expect highs in lower 90s thru Saturday

Hot and humid will be the norm for the remainder of the week here in Coweta County, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
The usual summer pattern is in place with high temperatures expected to be in the low-90s through Saturday with humidity creating Heat Index values near 100 degrees. And with the humidity comes a chance for an afternoon shower or thunderstorm each day as well.
Rain chances are listed at 40 percent today, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and increases to 60 percent on Saturday. The respective high temperatures are forecast for 90 degrees today, 91 on Wednesday, 92 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Overnight lows will be in the lower 70s.
