From Staff Reports

The weekends keep rolling along here in Coweta County and surrounding areas.

Tonight, a pair of plays hit the stage – Always Patsy Cline (Legacy Theatre in Tyrone) and The Love List (Newnan Theatre Company) – to go along with a docket full of local live music.

On Saturday, a free Kids Zone takes place at JC Penney in Newnan, Celebrating Black History through Stories is at the Peachtree City Library, and A Better Way Bargains is hosting a Customer Appreciation Day at its Peachtree City store. That night, Grits Hits: A Jazz Tribute to the Gold Record Artists from the South is at the Nixon Centre.

And Sunday, Nic & Norman’s in downtown Senoia is hosting a Walking Dead Season 9 Viewing Party.

Weather-wise, look  for much cooler temperatures and breezy conditions this weekend. Friday’s high will be near 56 and Saturday’s high near 54. Sunday’s high only reaches 46. Gusty winds could reach 25 mph over the weekend.

The Love List
At the Newnan Theatre Company. In this saucy adult comedy, Leon and Bill concoct a list of attributes of the ideal woman – the top ten best qualities in a mate. This old adage leads to hilarious results in Foster’s sparkling comic hit.
