Weekend Things To Do in Coweta County

From Staff Reports
The weekend calendar continues to be “lite” as January rolls along.
One highlight from the upcoming weekend takes place on Saturday at the Carnegie Library as author Hannah Palmer discusses her book – “Flight Path: A Search for Roots Beneath the World’s Busiest Airport.” It begins at 11 a.m.
Next weekend things will pick up drastically as Newnan hosts the Robert Burns Weekend plus the Run for the Angels and Chicken Q headline the events.
Weatherwise, a small victory for Coweta County as rain is not in the weekend forecast. Expect sunny skies with highs near 50 and lows in the upper 20s.
