From Staff Reports

The Weekend Calendar for Coweta County and surrounding area is loaded with plenty of things to do for the entire family.

Highlighting the Friday events is the second Alive! After Five event in downtown Senoia as shops will stay open until 8 p.m.

Saturday’s headlining activities start with Piedmont Healthcare’s Walk With A Doc in Peachtree City, then there’s the 25th Annual Turin Tractor Pull, the Frocks & Rocks Fashion Show takes place at the Newnan Centre,  and the 6th Annual Beer, Bourbon and Wine Tasting Fundraiser is set for the Historic Train Depot in downtown Newnan.

And on Sunday, it’s the Artists and Makers Pop Up Market at RPM Full Service just off the Square in downtown Newnan.

Three theatrical shows are on the calendar – Arsenic and Old Lace (Newnan Theatre Company), The Jungle Book,  and Hair: The American Tribal Love Rock Musical (both at the Serenbe Playhouse).

Don’t forget to check out the live music at the various local venues. On the bigger stages Saturday evening, Chris Botti performs at The Fred in Peachtree City and Purple Madness takes the stage at Southern Ground Amphitheater in Fayetteville.
