From Staff Reports

The neighbors to the east – Peachtree City – are turning 60 years old this year and this weekend, it’s celebration time.

Two events are taking place to commemorate the milestone. On Friday, an “Evening of Conversation” will be held at the Flat Creek Country Club. On Saturday, Drake Field is the site for an afternoon full of activities for the entire family. And later that evening, another fun event is planned – it’s Peachtree City’s Wine Fest: Wine & Warbirds.

And don’t forget to set the clocks forward as Daylight Saving Time takes over at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Weather-wise, both today and Saturday look like the best days of the weekend for outdoor events. Rain is forecast to move back into the area late Saturday afternoon and early evening. Temperatures will be in the mid-60s during the day with lows in the 50s.

Below is the day-to-day listing of events in the area. To have your event published, please email [email protected].
