2019 Care & Health Fair for Seniors, Caregivers set for Aug. 29

The 2019 Care & Health Fair, presented by Three Rivers Regional Commission, will take place on Thursday, Aug. 29.

This year’s event is officially titled – the 2019 Care & Health Fair Dog Days of Summer Relief from the Caregiver Heat – and will once again be held at the Coweta County Fairgrounds in Newnan. The event is free but RSVP is required. Registration begins that morning at 9 a.m. with the Care and Health Fair running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The conference will provide education and resources for older adults, family, friends and all caregivers.

Speakers will be Robert Goldberg (“You Earned It, Now Protect It”), Beth Dow (“Finding Happiness”), Jaami Rutledge (“Ageless Grace”) and David Marlowe (“Updates on Alzheimer’s Association”).  There will also be vendors, a light breakfast, lunch, door prizes and entertainment.

Again, it’s free admission but everyone must RSVP by August 15 to receive a lunch ticket. RSVP to Emily Rogers by calling 678-552-2850 or emailing: [email protected].
