Alternative Healing Expo, An Evening of Spirit Messages takes place today

From Staff Reports
The Newnan-Coweta Historical Society is offering up a pair of unique experiences today (Thursday, Oct. 24) with an Alternative Healing Expo during the day and an Evening of Spirit Messages tonight.
The Alternative Healing Expo is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Evening of Spirit Messages with Janis Intuitive Medium is from 7 to 9 p.m. Both events are at the Historic Train Depot at 60 East Broad Street in Newnan.
During the day, the Alternative Healing Expo is a tribute to Mayhayley Lancaster. As a lawyer, teacher, politician, and business woman, Lancaster was a woman ahead of her time. However, she is most famous for her psychic abilities and for how many people she helped with these gifts.
It’s in that same spirit, the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society is hosting an Alternative Healing Expo, celebrating local, modern-day oracles, healers, and psychics. Learn how Mayhayley impacted Coweta County and the surrounding area at the NCHS history booth and talk with local vendors to see how they have continued the practice of the holistic and the metaphysical arts. A list of vendors and instructions on how to schedule advanced mini-sessions is available via the NCHS Facebook event page by clicking the following LINK.
The event is free and open to the public. Vendors may charge for their respective services.
In the evening, have you ever wanted to communicate with a loved one who has passed on? Did you want to find the answers to your questions, or to heal and bring closure? You will have the opportunity to hear for yourself and possibly be the recipient of a message from a deceased loved one when the Historical Society hosts Medium Janis Boscarello for an Evening of Spirit Messages.
Like many gifted Mediums, Janis began seeing and hearing spirits at a very early age. It wasn’t until 2008, when her mother was losing her battle to ovarian cancer, that she fully embraced her abilities. Before her mother’s passing, they had an agreement that the mother would send Janis a sign that she was at peace on the other side and still a presence in her life. Since then, she has continuously received messages from her mother. After moving to Newnan 10 years ago, Janis began seeing clients and quickly gained a glowing reputation based on her amazing accuracy.
You will want to be a participant in this healing evening of spirits and stories. Seating is limited to 175 people and tickets are $20. More information can be found at the NCHS EVENTS PAGE.
