Arnall Grocery Company: Celebrating 150 Years on Aug. 10

Talk about longevity … Arnall Grocery Company will celebrate 150 years of doing business here in Coweta County on Saturday, Aug. 10.

The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a Gift with Purchase for the first 150 customers, Special Sales and Door Prizes, free food from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a chance to win one of five Gift Cards.

Arnall Grocery Company was established in 1869. Today’s owner Shane Prophett and his family and staff continue to uphold the standards started by the founder, H. C. Arnall, who was the grandfather of the former Georgia Governor Ellis Arnall.

The inventory customers can find at Arnall Grocery Company includes feed, seed, fertilizers, garden supplies, wholesale grocery items, paper goods for your home and office, cleaning supplies, concession supplies and candy as well as seasonal flowers and plants, and live bait.  They also offer delivery to local farms, offices, churches and industries.
