Carnegie Library to host Paper Airplane Celebration

From Special Reports
The Newnan Carnegie Library is celebrating National Aviation Day this year in a very unique way.
On Saturday, Aug. 14, the Carnegie invites everyone to come make and fly a variety of paper airplanes. Try to fly your planes the longest or make them do tricks. The event is for ages 8 and up and is from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
“It’s going to be a fun, family-friendly time to get together and learn how to make paper airplanes to celebrate National Aviation Day,” says Carnegie Library Children’s Programmer Teri Anderson. “We hope to see everyone spending a fun-filled morning at the Carnegie.”
