Coweta County School System to delay opening on Tuesday

Out of an abundance of caution based on forecasted icy road conditions for Coweta County, and in alignment with the Governor’s decision to delay the opening of state offices tomorrow, the Coweta County School System will operate on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Elementary students should report to school at 10 a.m. and middle and high school students should report at 10:30 a.m.. High school students will report directly to 2nd block classes.

All morning bus routes will operate on a 2-hour delay. Employee report times will be delayed two hours as well.  Schools will dismiss at their normal times tomorrow.
