Freeze Warning in effect for Coweta County again

For the third consecutive evening, the National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Freeze Warning for Coweta County and surrounding areas.

The Freeze Warning is in effect from 8 p.m. tonight until 10 a.m. on Thursday. The freezing temperatures could kill sensitive vegetation.

Tonight’s forecast calls for clear skies with a low near 27 degrees. The wind will be from the Northwest at 5 mph, then later becoming calm.

On Thursday, a slight warming trend continues with a high around 58 degrees and then the low drops to only 41 tomorrow night.

The high temperatures climb to 63 on Friday and 69 on Saturday before reaching 72 on Sunday.
