Freeze Warning issued for Coweta County tonight

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Freeze Warning for Coweta County and surrounding areas.

The Freeze Warning goes into effect at 11 p.m. and ends at 8 a.m. on Friday.

Temperatures are expected to drop to the upper 20s and lower 30s later this evening. The location of the Freeze Warning area is North and portions of central Georgia, along and north of a West Point to Macon to Louisville line.

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
