Southeastern Assistance in Healthcare has announced its 5th Annual Friends of the Fight Casino Night is set for Saturday, January 25 at the Newnan Centre.

The event is presented by Cancer Treatment Centers of America to benefit Southeastern Assistance in Healthcare and will help cancer patients with their nonmedical needs. It begins at 6 p.m.

This year’s fundraiser will be a fantastic night of gambling, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and the chance to win amazing prizes, all in support of an amazing cause.

Assistance in Healthcare, Inc. was established in 1983 by a group of volunteers in Zion, Illinois solely for the purpose of raising funds to support cancer patients and their families. Southeastern Assistance in Healthcare (SAIH) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, charitable organization that opened in 2012 and is dedicated to helping cancer patients who are undergoing treatment in the Metro Atlanta area by lessening the financial burden of cancer. Southeastern Assistance In Healthcare helps to keep families focused on fighting cancer and not worrying about other stresses cancer can cause by lessening the burden of non-medical needs such as groceries, utilities, housing, transportation, and basic living expenses.
