Keep Newnan Beautiful hosts Electronics Recycling on Oct. 3

An Electronics Recyling Event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3 behind City Hall in downtown Newnan.

The event – sponsored by Keep Newnan Beautiful – will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot behind Newnan’s City Hall at 25 LaGrange Street.

Below is a list of items accepted for Electronics Recycling:

Desktop Phones and Systems
Keyboards / Mice

Gaming Consoles
LCD (flat screen) Monitors

Dock Stations
TVs and Computer Screens are $20 each.

State and Local COVID-19 Guidelines will be in effect for this event. Residents will be asked to have their paper in the trunk or back of their respective vehicles so volunteers can access it with limited contact. Masks are encouraged.

Two other recycling events are set for later this year. A Paint Recycling event is planned for Oct. 24 and a Paper Shredding event on Dec. 5.
