Weekend Weather in Coweta: Fall-like temperatures arrive

Though Fall doesn’t officially begin until Tuesday (Sept. 22), Coweta County will get a preview of the season this weekend according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
The warmest day will be today with a high of 82 degrees. Then the cooler weather arrives overnight with the high on Saturday near 73, and on Sunday near 72. Lows will be 54 on Saturday night and 52 on Sunday evening.
And after the rain event from the remnants of Hurricane Sally earlier this week, no rain is in the immediate forecast.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny, with a high near 82. North wind around 5 mph.
FRIDAY NIGHT – Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. North wind around 5 mph becoming northeast after midnight.
SATURDAY – Mostly cloudy, with a high near 73. East wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
SATURDAY NIGHT – Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. Northeast wind around 5 mph.
SUNDAY – Sunny, with a high near 72. East wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
SUNDAY NIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 52.
