December, I do believe, is the most busiest time of the year. Just visit the Courthouse Square, the best kept secret in all of Georgia, and see for yourself. There is something for everyone to do around the Courthouse Square. Be sure to check The Calendar in “The Paper” so you won’t miss any of the many fun events.

The treasure of the month is Emily’s Skincare and Spa located on 4 Greenville Street right next to Deals-4-Dollars. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Phone is 770-262-6233.

This amazing shop offers may levels of skincare, and other services such as facials, waxing, spray tanning, as well as body and hair care. They use only the top of the line products and everyone at Emily’s is highly trained and skilled in the art of skincare and all that they do. Make your appointment today to be ready for the holidays coming up. Be sure to tell them Mr. Personality sent you.

On Sunday, Nov. 12, I had the pleasure of attending the Newnan High School basketball “Meet the Cougars” open house at the invitation of Coach Lenn Brown, the president of the Newnan High School Tip Off Club. That’s a non-profit parent volunteer organization created to support all the Newnan High School basketball teams.

There was an impressive display of much food and drinks for everyone to enjoy. There was a ceremony and other activities in the gym and on the basketball court. I noticed a lot of the boys and girls on the basketball court were very talented and there was quite a turnout of supporters, fans and friends.

The open house seemed to have been a success from my viewpoint and I enjoyed the experience and the opportunity to meet the Cougars. The Newnan Cougars are in need of sponsors and volunteers. If you can help, please call Coach Lenn Brown at 770-755-8175.

Remember my Mr. Personality 2018 calendars are going fast. Be sure to check my Facebook page to locate them as they will make great stocking stuffers.

This is indeed a busy time of the year, there is shopping to be done, presents to wrap and food to prepare. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday. Please take a minute and remember the true reason for the season, after all, it is called Christmas and not Walmartmas.

Remember, many people at this time of year can become very depressed for a number of reasons. If you know such people, reach out and include them. In fact, including others is the true spirit of Christmas.

If you are alone and depressed, reach out, check your local church, find a place that is in need of volunteers. Surround yourself with children or pets and if all else fails, stand on a street corner and give out free hugs.

Merry Christmas to you all. Until next year …

Love,

Mr. Personality
