January, the month of Christmas bills, overeating and New Year’s resolutions.

I’m indeed looking forward to a much slower paced daily activity now that the holidays are over for a while.

The Southern Arc Dance Theater did a magnificent and outstanding performance of “The Nutcracker.” The Wadsworth Auditorium was packed both nights, Dec. 14 and 15.

Everyone on stage did such a great job of performing in every area of the ballet. I have neither the space or the words to express their excellent performance in print. I give Paulo De Sousa and the entire cast of The Nutcracker four thumbs up.

I can hardly wait to see near year’s performance again. Great job, well done Southern Arc Dance.

Mark Carlisle is the person you need to see for any and all your home improvement needs. Simply call 678-664-6482 and tell him you saw it in “The Paper.”

Speaking of The Paper, there is so much going on around the Square I can hardly keep up with it all. However, “The Paper” can, so pick up a copy anywhere around the Square to avoid missing out on any of the fun stuff on the Square and Coweta County.

The treasure of the month for the Courthouse Square, the best kept secret in all of Georgia, is “Garlic,” a Thai cuisine and sushi bar. It’s a great place to impress your boss, girlfriend or mother-in-law. It’s located at 16 North Court Square right next door to “Let Them Eat Toffee.” Be sure to order the coconut soup, it is yummy.

This is a good time to pick up some great bargains from New Beginnings, a thrift store located at 7 West Washington St. There have been a lot of donations lately and it is a great store to visit as well.

Tony Caro is the manager there and he is a super nice guy. In fact all the people working there are great, plus the store has been Mr. Personality-approved. Be sure to check out the fresh new sign on the lower part of the door as you go in. For more information, call 770-683-8029.

Thanks to Matt, the owner of the Downtown Sign Shop on 25 Jackson St., as he did a great job on that very same sign at a great price. Anyone needing a sign or a banner can call Matt at 678-673-6753 and tell them Mr. Personality sent you.
