From Special Reports

At its weekly luncheon meeting on Sept. 27, the Kiwanis Club of Newnan made the final contribution to fulfill a multiyear pledge of over $60,000 to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund Eliminate Project.

With commitments like the one from Newnan Kiwanis, the Eliminate Project has helped save and protect the lives of millions of mothers and babies around the world.  Kiwanis is committed to protecting moms and babies from maternal and neonatal tetanus, and MNT has now been eliminated from 27 countries.

The Newnan Kiwanis Club meets every Tuesday at noon at the Newnan Country Club.  Guests are always welcome.
