Retirement Party set for Sheriff Mike Yeager Feb. 7

A Retirement Party honoring Sheriff Mike Yeager is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 7 at the Coweta County Fairgrounds & Conference Center.

The event celebrates Sheriff Yeager’s 31 years with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office and is a drop-in from 4-7 p.m. with BBQ plates available. No RSVP is needed.

Yeager was confirmed by the U.S. Senate in December as U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Georgia. He was nominated by President Trump on June 7, 2018. Here is the story published in The Shopper announcing his confirmation: Yeager confirmation.
