Saturday: Military Appreciation Day, Cattlemen’s Cook-Off, Lumberjack & Lumberjill Contest

It’s Military Appreciation day at the 2021 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair.

All active and retired military personnel with military ID will be admitted free when the gates open at noon at the Coweta County Fairgrounds and Conference Center.

Saturday’s schedule of entertainment, exhibits and competitions are listed below.

1-4 pm – Artisan Corner Make-N-Take Crafts – Food Court

2 pm – 4-H Rabbit Agility Competition – Livestock Arena

4-4:30 – Artisan Corner Pop-Up Puppet Show – Food Court

5-8 pm – The Living Statue – Food Court

5-10 pm – Exhibits on Display – Exhibit Hall

5-10 pm – Animal Exhibits – Ag Building

6 pm – Cattlemen’s Cook-Off – Exhibit Hall

6 pm – Lumberjack & Lumberjill Contest – Livestock Arena

6-9:30 pm – DJ Dance Party & DJ Boots Entertainment – Walker Horne Stage

7:30 pm – Nightly Parade – Food Court

TBA – Muttville Comix Show – Midway

TBA – Southeastern Reptile Rescue Exhibit – Midway Annex

Weather-wise, folks attending today’s fair will do so under sunny skies with a high near 78 degrees. Tonight, it will be clear and cool with the temperature in the mid-60s during the evening hours of the fair.

 Fair hours on Saturday are noon to midnight.  Gate admission is $5 with children 5 and under get in free. Parking is free.
