Mellow Mushroom
Mellow Mushroom – the stone-baked pizza bakers with 160+ locations nationwide – announces that its new, nearly 3,000-square-foot location in Newnan is now open.. Located at 733 Bullsboro Drive, the restaurant marks the brand’s 45th location in Georgia and operates as a company-owned store.
Newnan is the brand’s second location (following Atlanta’s Grant Park) that mirrors one of the company’s new restaurant formats: featuring counter service ordering for both food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, modern retro design and inventive new menu additions.
“As a Georgia-founded brand, we’re proud to continue investing in communities across our home state,” said Ahsan Jiva, Executive Vice President of Strategy & Transformation. “Newnan is an important milestone for Mellow Mushroom as the second location to showcase our new restaurant format.

Newnan Crossing Development
A new retail center could soon be coming to 1466 Newnan Crossing Boulevard in Newnan. The proposed development would be located behind Freddy’s in the currently undeveloped area near the Newnan LINC, Nickel Creek Townhomes, and The Promenade Apartments.
According to Leigh Schlumper, a Realtor in Newnan who shared the project on Facebook, the city is currently reviewing plans for the new center. The project is expected to include approximately 4,000 square feet of retail space, with the potential to accommodate businesses such as a coffee shop, wine bar, boutique, office, or other retail concept.
The plans show two proposed buildings with parking between them, landscaping, sidewalks, and outdoor seating space. The location would offer direct access to the Newnan LINC and serve residents living in the surrounding apartments and townhome communities.
