This month, The Paper publishes its Q&A with Buster Meadows, the Police Chief of the City of Newnan.

Briefly describe yourself and what you do/did.

A 6’6”  gray haired, 66-year-old meek teddy bear!  Oversee operations and budget for the Newnan Police Department.

Best piece of advice you’ve received.

Never jump to conclusions.

If I had it to do over …

I wouldn’t change anything.

You are going on an extended solo trip. What three albums and three books would you take?

Buster is a nickname and not my given name.

You are hosting a dinner party for six. What five people, living or dead, would you invite and why?

My Wife, My daughter, Son-in-Law, Granddaughter and oldest brother.  Because family will be there when no one is.

Name an as yet unfulfilled dream.

Owning a Lake House.

If you weren’t doing what you are, you would be … 

Retired.
