Hike and Paddle
Saturday, March 10, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
It’s the best time of year here at the Bend. Enjoy a 5.5 mile hike up the Riverside trail with a nice easy float down to the Day Use Area boat ramp. Boats are available to rent, or bring your own. Registration is required. $12, $30 boat rental $5 parking.
Dutch Oven Delights Club
Saturday, March 10, 4:30 to 6 p.m.
We will come together at shelter number 1 and learn to use the Dutch Oven. Swap some recipes and share some food that you will prepare. You bring Ingredients, we bring the charcoal. Dutch ovens will be available to use for the beginners. $6 plus $5 parking.
Hike and Paddle

Get the best of both worlds here at The Bend: a 5.5-mile hike up the Riverside Trail to the boat launch where we’ll have lunch. A short instruction session to get you on your way to a nice, easy paddle back down the Chattahoochee. Boats are available to rent or bring your own. Register in advance, space is limited. Glow In The Dark Bowling
Saturday, March 24, 7-9 p.m.
Grab your glow sticks and light bracelets and come out for family fun outdoor bowling. Bring a dim light or use glow sticks for light (no bright phone lights or flashlights, please). All ages. Cash only. $3 per person $5 parking.
Easter Eggcitement
Saturday, March 31, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Bring your baskets and camera; 1000 candy and prize filled eggs and the Easter bunny will be here. Age groups 0-4, 5-8, 9-12. $3 for egg hunt, $3 for chalk contest. $5 parking.

Spring Art Walk
Friday, March 23, 5-9 p.m.
During the Art Walk, businesses extend their hours to host storefront exhibits and demonstrations curated by a variety of Newnan’s finest artists. Complimentary tastings and hors d’oeuvres will be served by some of our local businesses, as well as specials and promotions. Visitors can expect to stroll through over 30 locations and see the work of at least 40 artists, and you will find a wide variety of art styles and mediums, including: oil on canvas, engraving, pottery, photography, jewelry-making, fiber arts, performing arts and acrylics.

The market showcases a variety of handmade, homemade, and homegrown products created by local artisans, artists, and farmers. It features 50 unique booths with new vendors and one-of-a-kind items each month. Market favorites include: fresh locally grown produce, honey, jams and jellies, salsa, pottery, art, children’s clothing, hand-woven baskets, leather products, fresh baked goods, handcrafted furniture, birdhouses, wood-art, fiber-art, wreaths, floral design, and much more! The Market is open to the public, and there is no charge for admission.

Caught in the middle of their cosmic gamesmanship is an anxious club manager.
