The weekend calendar of events is scarce as you would expect this time of year between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
If you like live music, the Alamo, the Brickhouse and Grazing Here have local acts scheduled for both Friday and Saturday nights and again on Monday (New Year’s Eve).
The Chattahoochee Bend State Park has a pair of adventures to explore with an Eye-Spy Camera Scavenger Hunt and class about Wintering Birds.
The weather will be a factor this weekend with rain forecast today, Saturday and Sunday. Today is at 100 percent, Saturday at 30 percent and Sunday 60 percent. At least the high temperatures will be in the 60s and the lows in the 40s.
