From Staff Reports

The weekend arrives here in Coweta County with several events taking place in the area for all ages.

Tonight, music is the headliner. Our music columnist Kris Youmans has listed six local venues with live music.

On Saturday, it’s the 12th Annual Coweta Oscar Gala benefitting the Coweta County Boys and Girls Club in the evening. During the day, activities for the kids can be found at the Chattahoochee Bend State Park or the Peachtree City Library.

And on Sunday, professional sports are on the schedule as Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton hosts the NASCAR Folds of Honor Quiktrip 500 and the Alliance of America Football makes its debut in Atlanta as the Legends entertain the Birmingham Iron.

Weatherwise, Sunday appears to be the best day with sunny skies beginning around mid-morning and the high near 65.

Below is the day-to-day listing of events in the area. To have your event published, please email [email protected].
