3 to 4 p.m. … Come join the Children Connect Newnan’s Children’s Museum to take part in our Christmas Candy Lantern Workshop. Attendees will be turning Chinese Lantern’s into Christmas Candy to use at the city of Newnan’s Gingerbread Christmas Parade later that evening. All ages are encouraged to attend. 2022 ANNUAL NEWNAN CHRISTMAS PARADE
Downtown Newnan
6 p.m. … One of the county’s most popular events annually – the 2022 Newnan Christmas Parade. This year’s version features a route through downtown Newnan with the theme – Gingerbread Christmas. The parade will begin at the corner of Clark Street and Jackson Street and proceed down Jackson Street. It will conclude on LaGrange Street, immediately before Greenville Street Park (Salbide Ave.). Please note the parade route this year will only proceed down Jackson and will not go around the downtown square. Float award categories this year include Most Creative, Most Original, Best Use of Parade Theme, The Elfin Award (children participation) and People’s Choice Award (voted on via social media after the event). The Parade Judges for the event will be senior high school students from the Newnan Youth Council.

4 p.m. … This self-guided tour gives you access to a charming collection of some beautiful homes in downtown Senoia. Each homeowner takes great pride in decorating their home for the Christmas season and will showcase Senoia’s beauty throughout the event. There is a total of 8 stops on this year’s tour. 6 of the stops are homes, and The Veranda Bed & Breakfast, and the Senoia Historic Society on the tour as well. Ticket booklets are $25 and can be picked at Senoia Welcome Center, located at 68 Main Street in downtown Senoia.
