Senoia’s Downtown Trick or Treat highlights the weekend festivities as another weekend gets kicked-off here in Coweta County.
The Downtown Trick or Treat takes place today from 3 to 5 p.m. in Senoia.

On Saturday, it’s the Autumn Chase Trail Race & Fun Run at Newnan Utilities’ Carl Miller Park. And on Sunday, the highlight is the Sacred Harp Singing in the Coweta County Courthouse on the Square in Newnan.

Pumpkin Carving Contest at The Bend

Oak Hill Cemetery Tour
Experience Newnan’s Oak Hill Cemetery as never before and learn about some early citizens laid to rest during Newnan-Coweta Historical Society’s 3rd Annual Oak Hill Cemetery Tour, “Angels Are Among Us Here,” 4-7 p.m. Oct. 27. Little Free Library Dedication in Senoia
The dedication of Senoia’s newest Little Free Library will take place on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 3 p.m. at the Senoia Housing Authority Park. The event is sponsored by the Optimist Club of Senoia, Coweta Association of Retired Teachers and the Housing Authority of Senoia. This will be the third Little Free Library that the Senoia Optimists have sponsored, currently with one at the Seavy Street Park and one on Main Street in Senoia.

Sacred Harp Singing
Mark your calendar for a free singing event set for the 1904 Coweta County Courthouse in Downtown Newnan. The Sacred Harp Singing – a four-part harmony a cappella singing – will be from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the upstairs courtroom. Dinner on the grounds will be held across the street in the Carnegie Library Conference Room. Singers and listeners are invited. Attendees can come and go as they please, stay five minutes or all day.
