Tuesday Daily Status Report: Coweta posts 4 new cases, now at 519

The 3 p.m. Daily Status Report of the COVID-19 pandemic has been issued by the Georgia Department of Public Health for Tuesday, June 16.

Coweta County posted 4 new cases of COVID-19 for the second consecutive day, but no deaths or hospitalizations were recorded in the past 24 hours. Overall, Coweta’s cumulative totals stand at of 519 cumulative cases, 12 deaths and 53 hospitalizations.

Today, Georgia registered 664 new cases, 35 deaths, 132 hospitalizations and 22 ICU admits. The 132 hospitalizations were the most since 138 on June 4.

In the last two days combined (Monday and Tuesday), Georgia has had 1397 cases, 78 deaths, 206 hospitalized and 31 to ICU.

Overall, Georgia now has a cumulative total of 59,078 cases, 2529 deaths, 9454 hospitalized and 2065 ICU admits. The total number of tests administered now stands at 747,348 though 118,075 (about 16 percent) of that total are antibody tests.
