TV: Braves, United, Dream in action this week

From Staff Reports

Three Atlanta professional sports teams – Braves, United and Dream – have games set for television viewing this week.

The one noticeable difference in this Sports on TV weekly column is the Atlanta Hawks are not on the list. The Hawks fell just two games short of the NBA finals losing the Eastern Conference Finals series to the Milwaukee Bucks.

In baseball, the Atlanta Braves dropped its first of a 6-game road stand last night losing at Pittsburgh 11-1. Atlanta is now 41-43 overall and is 4.5 games back of National League East leader New York. After two more games in Pittsburgh, the Braves travel to Miami for a 3-game set beginning Friday.

Atlanta United is coming off a 3-0 loss on Saturday at the Chicago Fire FC. United is in 10th place in the MLS Eastern Conference with 12 points and a 2-3-6 record.
