Weather: Dry, cool weekend ahead in Coweta

After a wet start this morning, folks here in Coweta County can expect a typical cool winter weekend.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says morning rain moves out before noon with mostly cloudy skies and a high reaching near 44 degrees. Northwest wind will be 5-10 mph, gusting to 15. Clouds remain overnight with the low dropping to 30.

On Saturday, mostly sunny skies are in the forecast with a high of 45 and again, winds from the Northwest at 10 mph, gusting to 15. The low on Saturday night will be around 25.

And on Sunday, look for sunny skies with a high near 51 and calm winds. The overnight low will be 30.

Rain chances move to 50 percent on Monday with a high near 49.
