Weather: Mostly dry forecast with warming trend by midweek

Temperatures are expected to climb into the lower 70s by midweek here in Coweta County, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
After a cold start this morning, today’s high will reach 61 degrees under sunny skies. Overnight, the mercury will drop to 39 under clear skies.
Warmer temperatures arrive and sunny skies continue on Tuesday with a high of 70 degrees. The high on Wednesday and Thursday is expected to be 72 degrees while overnight lows will reach the mid-40s.
A slight chance of rain, listed at 20 percent, will be associated with a cold front and cooler temperatures on Thursday. On Thursday night, the overnight low will dip to 39.
And beginning Friday, sunny skies return with a high of only 57 and the low later that evening will be 37.
