Weather: Same weather pattern continues in Coweta this weekend

It’s the weekend but expect more of the same recent weather pattern here in Coweta County, says the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.
The possibility of showers and thunderstorms continue to stick around and the daily high temperatures will continue to climb into the upper 80s through Sunday.
Rain chances are listed at 40 percent today, 40 percent on Saturday and 50 percent on Sunday. The forecast highs will be 85 today and 87 on Saturday and Sunday with overnight lows near 70.

SUNDAY – A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
MONDAY – A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 86.
