Weather: Sunny, mild weekend ahead for Coweta

Finally, a nice weekend weather-wise here in Coweta County. Wait, make that a great weather weekend.

Coweta residents can expect much of the same weather pattern from the past several days over the weekend. The forecast calls for lots of sunshine and clear skies with daytime highs in the low 80s and overnight lows near 60 degrees. That’s perfect weather for a trip to the 2022 Kiwanis Coweta County Fair, high school or college football games or just some plain outdoor gathering.

In fact, there is no mention of rain in the seven-day extended forecast from the National Weather Service. A warming trend begins to ramp up early next week as highs will be in the 90s.
