Weather Week in Coweta County: Mostly sunny and warm

It appears the spring and early summer patterns have settled in as the calendar gets ready to move to May.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to expect mostly sunny skies throughout the week with high temperatures in the mid-80s. The lows will be near 60 degrees.
A slight chance of rain (20%) is in the Thursday forecast, followed by a 40% rain chance on Friday.
Below is the day-by-day forecast from the NWS:
MONDAY – Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 84. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.
WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. South wind around 5 mph.
THURSDAY – A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 86.
FRIDAY – A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 86.
